Anovulation
Absence of ovulation in a cycle. Causes include PCOS, hypothalamic suppression (stress, underweight, overtraining), hyperprolactinaemia, and thyroid dysfunction. The most common cause of ovulatory infertility.

- היעדר ביוץ במחזור. גורמים: PCOS, דיכוי היפותלמי (לחץ, תת-משקל, אימון יתר), היפרפרולקטינמיה, תפקוד לקוי של בלוטת התריס. הגורם השכיח ביותר לאי-פוריות ביוצית.
